According to Mr Robert Alai,President Uhuru is using the institution to politically paralyze DP William Ruto. ''So @DCI_Kenya has been targeting DP with the arrest of Echesa but in court, they haven’t mentioned him. Uhuru has turned DCI and @ODPP_KE into propaganda machinery against DP Ruto.There is nothing credible coming from the two offices,'' tweeted Alai. Alai's claims comes amid sharp contradiction by DCI during the arrest of former CS Sports Rashid Echesa. The Rungu which was given to him by his elder brother and Member of Parliament for Rongai Constituency Raymond Moi will mean that Gedion is now the de facto leader of KANU. The rituals which was held alongside Mzee Moi's burial ceremony was meant to immediately make Gedion Moi the successor of KANU party as Mzee was laid to rest. Jubilee Party secretary general Raphael Tuju who was involved in a fatal road accident enroute Kabarak is now in stable condition, according to  Dr. Ken Muma,  the CEO Kijabe Mission Hospital. Mr Muma noted that Tuju underwent an operation that stabilised him for the flight where he will be treated in Nairobi. Police reports indicate that all those involved in the accident were taken to Kijabe Mission hospital where they were treated on minor injuries. “All the injured were rushed to Kijabe Mission Hospital where they are admitted in stable condition apart from the matatu driver who is on life support,” the police report reads. Tuju who was accompanied by his driver and bodyguard was heading to the funeral of Mzee Daniel Arap Moi in Kibarak. His family was airlifted in the morning to join him in Kijabe Mission hospital. This has increased tension around the world as over 25 countries have confirmed reported cases of the virus. The number of reported infections is now more than 40,000 with a larger percentage reported in Hubei and Wuhan provinces of China. However, the World Health Organization (WHO) have confirmed that the vaccine to counter the virus will be ready in 18 months. The official name announced is COVID-19. The death toll in China's mainland is now more than 1,000 people.

According to the senator, Mzee was much in love with beef to what came as a shock to mourners gathered at Nyayo Stadium on Tuesday. Gedion noted that despite Doctor's advise that 'Nyayo' should no longer have a taste of the meat,Mzee was adamant to have beef included in his menu. Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has finally paid his last respect to the late Mzee Daniel Arap Moi who passed away on Tuesday. The ODM party leader officially ended speculations over his 'absence' during the mourning period of Nyayo who is reported to have died at 105 years,rather than 95 years. Odinga was accompanied by his wife Ida Odinga and his son Raila Junior,whereby they performed rituals.Raila was using his trademark black fly whisk after removing his cap. The rituals, however, is not known whether it was to seek forgiveness from Mzee Moi after Raila was largely accused to have masterminded the 1982 failed coup. The 23-year-old lady allegedly defiled a two and a half year boy by tickling the boys' private part and inserting hers,according to Nyahururu sub-county police commander Geofrey Mayiek. “She excited the private parts of the boy by tickling it with her fingers and then she removed her pants and inserted the boys’ genitalia in her private parts,” he said as quoted by Standard. The arrest came after the parents reported the matter where a CCTV surveillance installed in the house captured the act.

According to a clip that went round yesterday, the Chinese identified as Deng Hailan gave two hot strokes to the man yet to be known after what has been said to be a punishment. The clip was first shared by K24 TV  and several Kenyans were angered by the act. Chinese Embassy to Kenya has since called upon police officers to get to the bottom of the matter.
