CS Tuju in stable condition, airlifted to Nairobi

Jubilee Party secretary general Raphael Tuju who was involved in a fatal road accident enroute Kabarak is now in stable condition, according to Dr. Ken Muma,  the CEO Kijabe Mission Hospital.

Mr Muma noted that Tuju underwent an operation that stabilised him for the flight where he will be treated in Nairobi.

Police reports indicate that all those involved in the accident were taken to Kijabe Mission hospital where they were treated on minor injuries.

“All the injured were rushed to Kijabe Mission Hospital where they are admitted in stable condition apart from the matatu driver who is on life support,” the police report reads.

Tuju who was accompanied by his driver and bodyguard was heading to the funeral of Mzee Daniel Arap Moi in Kibarak.

His family was airlifted in the morning to join him in Kijabe Mission hospital.

Several leaders led by ODM party leader Raila Odinga have sent quick recovery messages to CS Tuju.
