King Kaka and co in trouble as new poet joins the game

King Lemah is among the most promising poet.

The street poetry industry in Kenya is steadily growing and expanding, thanks to the time and resources artistes are channeling into the industry.

From King Kaka  to Willy Oeba to Qui Qarre  and to Kapendo , the industry has seen massive transformation and growth.

Spoken word  artistes are increasingly adding value to the industry, and the latest to join is poet King Lemah.

Poet King Lemah who marked his arrival in the industry with a  spoken word track which goes by the name POMBE NA SIGARA is currently the most sought young poet in the country.His supper talent has definitely given renowned poet King Kaka sleepless night.

Speaking to this publication on 14th February, Lemah noted that his entrance to the industry is from his inner heart.

''My passion has been on poetry.If I say am a poet by default am sure that is 100 per cent definition of my ambition,''said Lemah.

Lemah has now send a warning to giants like King Kaka who have so long dominated the industry.

''Am equal to the task.Am sure the industry is now dominated by celebrated artists like King Kaka but am pretty sure that my entrance will be laudable,''added Lemah.

He is yet to release another track.
