Raila Odinga presides over rituals during Mzee Moi's body viewing

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has finally paid his last respect to the late Mzee Daniel Arap Moi who passed away on Tuesday.

The ODM party leader officially ended speculations over his 'absence' during the mourning period of Nyayo who is reported to have died at 105 years,rather than 95 years.

Odinga was accompanied by his wife Ida Odinga and his son Raila Junior,whereby they performed rituals.Raila was using his trademark black fly whisk after removing his cap.

The rituals, however, is not known whether it was to seek forgiveness from Mzee Moi after Raila was largely accused to have masterminded the 1982 failed coup.

Mzee Moi will be laid to rest on 12th February at his Kabarak residence.
