Gedion Moi reveals his father's favourite dish

Baringo senator who is also the son of the late Mzee Daniel Arap Moi has revealed his father's favourite dish.

According to the senator, Mzee was much in love with beef to what came as a shock to mourners gathered at Nyayo Stadium on Tuesday.

Gedion noted that despite Doctor's advise that 'Nyayo' should no longer have a taste of the meat,Mzee was adamant to have beef included in his menu.

''Mzee alipenda nyama sana,nilimwambia Daktari amekataa akaniuliza kama daktari yupo hapo (Mzee loved meat so much,I told him the doctor had refused him to take but asked me if the doctor was around),''revealed Gedion Moi.

The senator further acknowledged that indeed his father's demise was a blow not only to the family but Kenya as a whole.

The body of Moi will be buried at his Kabarak residence on Wednesday.
