Meet Moi University's most influential student

Kesses based Moi University will be conducting its annual elections on Friday for the delegates and later on Student's Governing Council (SGC) at a later date.

As the clock is ticking towards Friday's much hyped elections, Brian Sankei a 3rd year student in Moi University has now become the most sought leader in the institution.

The Economic student who will be eyeing a SGC post(Co-Curricular) has since accepted the endorsement by fellow comrades despite seeking the majority delegate vote according to Duale bill.

''As I had said before, comrades are superior and they are always right.With due respect, I decided to heed to their calls to vie for a Co-Curricular post,''said Sankei during a phone interview.

If elected, Sankei has promised to fully address comrades' needs.

''Apart from the core value of studying in the university, I will oversee total sanity in the Co-Curricular sector like ensuring that there are adequate materials for every sporting activity ,entertainment among others,''added Sankei.

A section of students further affirmed the leadership skills Sankei has.

''We know Sankei as a leader and it will be a win for the institution if the chosen delegates will consider him for the post,'' said Victor Chumba, one of his classmate.
