Gedion Moi almost in tears as he receives 'Fimbo ya Nyayo'

Baringo Senator Gedion Moi was overwhelmed after he was given the iconic Fimbo Ya Nyayo 'Rungu' at his father's send off.

The Rungu which was given to him by his elder brother and Member of Parliament for Rongai Constituency Raymond Moi will mean that Gedion is now the de facto leader of KANU.

The rituals which was held alongside Mzee Moi's burial ceremony was meant to immediately make Gedion Moi the successor of KANU party as Mzee was laid to rest.

During the handing over,Senator Moi was so overwhelmed that he almost shade tears; still unknown if he was happy with the new role or maybe coming to the terms that he had lost a dad who mentored him.

Mzee Moi was  buried at his Kabarak residence,next to the burial site of his wife Lena Moi.

Moi who was the second president ruled Kenya for 24years.
