ODM leader and opposition chief in Kenya Raila Odinga has finally ended speculations over his 'absence' during former President Moi's mourning period.
Taking to his official Twitter account on Sunday, the African Union Infrastructure Representative noted that despite being out of the country on official duties, he will soon be joining other mourners during this difficult period.
''Signed the condolence book for President Daniel arap Moi at the AU Complex in Addis Ababa. Looking forward to joining fellow citizens In mourning the former president back home in Nairobi and Kabarak,''tweeted Odinga.
This has end speculations that Odinga's presence during Moi's send off could have reignited 1982 failed coup.
Raila Odinga was allegedly accused to have led a group who wanted to oust 'Nyayo'.
Moi will be laid to rest on 12th February.
