Uhuru,Raila shares podium in the US

ODM party leader Raila Odinga has now affirmed that their handshake between President Kenyatta is now a worldwide affair.

Taking to his Twitter account on Thursday, Raila noted that their US trip with his brother Uhuru was about to show that Kenya is now a peaceful country.

''On a historic day at a historic International  Luncheon in Washington, I joined hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta and shared with the world our journey to reconciliation. The world stands with us. We must stand firmly with each other as Kenyans and reconcile our people,''tweeted Raila Odinga.

The two brothers are expected to jet back to the country ahead of former President Daniel Arap Moi's burial.

Nakuru based politician Davis Ruto is now on EACC radar after his bank accounts were allegedly frozen over corruption cases.  The youthful politician is also alleged to have fled the country to avoid being questioned by the hawk eyed Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
