Inside DP Ruto's Mt Kenya region takeover plan ahead of 2022

DP William Ruto who has already declared his 2022 Presidential bid is now the man to watch in Mt Kenya as far as politics is concerned.

Apart from personally transversing the region, the second in command has stationed his confidents to get the 'ground' intact ahead of his 2022 take over.

Majority of his allies who have vowed to support his candidature are hailing from Mt Kenya,the reason why Ruto is now taking over region.Among them are Former Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri,MP Alice Wahome,MP Moses Kuria,MP Kimani Ichungwa'h,MP Ndindi Nyoro etc.

His 'Hustler Nation' narrative has also gone in hand with Wanjiku's needs evidently in the ongoing Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) debate.

To prove the point, Nominated MP Maina Kamanda,a fierce critic of DP Ruto who on last year was addressing residents in the region saying that only God knew the successor was met with 'Ruto! Ruto! Ruto! ' chants.

Recently, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa'h was told to the face by his constituents that DP William Ruto was their choice if the ballot consists of Kimani,Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga(the residents were answering Kimani's question;Whom will you vote for president if the ballot consists of I, Ruto and Raila?).

Nakuru Politician on EACC Radar Over Alleged Money Laundering Case

Nakuru based politician Davis Ruto is now on EACC radar after his bank accounts were allegedly frozen over corruption cases.  The youthful politician is also alleged to have fled the country to avoid being questioned by the hawk eyed Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). Davis Ruto is aspiring to succeed outgoing Nakuru senator Susan Kihika who has declared gubernatorial interest.
