Miguna: Echesa's Annex visit was a trap to arrest Ruto

DP William Ruto and embattled ex-CS Rashid Echesa.

No-nonsense lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna has now shockingly revealed that Deputy President William Ruto is now a 'prey' to the State.

According to the self proclaimed NRM general,Ruto was allegedly going to be arrested alongside former CS Sports Rashid Echesa at the Harambee House Annex office only for the fallen police officer Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei to 'warn' the second in command about the looming arrest.

''The original plot: Facilitate the Polish crooks' entry into Kenya; rop-in the greedy Rashid Echesa; raid Ruto's offices when the meeting was going on; arrest everyone involved including @WilliamsRuto; and then ORCHESTRATE an IMPEACHMENT and "Ruto Must Go" chorus. Old tricks!

''Because the plan was foiled by Kipyegon Kenei who warned @WilliamsRuto to keep away from the office. Why was Kenei to be "QUESTIONED" by the @DCI_Kenya and not the people who issued the Polish crooks visas and gave them VIP escorts to Government offices? Think! #uhurumustgo,''tweeted Miguna.

Miguna further noted that the whole process was a set up to 'trap' Ruto.

''Echesa committed no crime. Having meetings with foreigners even in Despot Uhuru Kenyatta's or Ruto's offices are not crimes. If Echesa committed forgery, it has nothing to do with the place of meetings or whose office the meetings took place. Uhuru is desperate to fix Ruto,''added Miguna.

Miguna's shocking claim comes after the second in command pointed an accusing finger at Kinoti led DCI for not working hard to bring culprits who murdered Kenei to book.

Kenei who was to record a statement with the DCI regarding Echesa's visit was found dead at his Nairobi home.

His family has since called upon responsible authorities to get the phone calls data that might help in unearthing the monsters who took away his life.
